Located in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan, on the north end of Madison Square Park, BLACKBARN is a farm-to-table restaurant, bar, and private event space. With Chef & Owner John Doherty at the helm, we offer a sophisticated take on modern American cuisine.
Our chefs frequent the Union Square Farmers Market and proudly source fresh, seasonal ingredients from farms in the tri-state area. In forging meaningful relationships with local farmers, artisans, and ranchers, we’re pleased to create a sustainable, memorable dining experience overlooking Madison Square Park.

BLACKBARN is rooted in a commitment to sustainability. Along with sourcing from local farmers we partner with an industry-leading composting program, PEAT and are Green Restaurant Association certified. We are continually working to remain at the forefront of green restaurant operations.
